  48-Hour Delivery Policy 

At UK Pet Food Shop LTD, we are dedicated to ensuring your orders are delivered swiftly and efficiently. Our objective is to process and dispatch all orders within 48 hours of receiving payment, subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Payment Confirmation

– The 48-hour delivery period begins upon receipt of payment confirmation.

  1. Order Assessment and Processing

– All received orders will be assessed and processed in accordance with the company’s Orders Submission, Processing, and Cancellation Policy.

– Orders received before 11:00 AM (UK Standard Time) on a working day will have the 48-hour delivery period start on the same business day.

– Orders received after 11:00 AM (UK Standard Time), as well as those placed on weekends or public holidays, will have the 48-hour delivery period start on the next business day.

  1. Dispatch Process

– The 48-hour timeframe covers order processing, packaging, and handover to our trusted courier services.

  1. Delivery Completion

– The 48-hour period is considered fulfilled upon the first delivery attempt by our courier service partner.

  1. Exceptions and Unforeseen Factors

– External Circumstances: Events such as natural disasters, extreme weather, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control may impact delivery times.

– Public Holidays and Weekends: Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day, with the 48-hour delivery period starting from that point.

– Customized or Special Orders: Orders that require customization, special requests, or personalized products may need additional processing time.

– Incomplete or Incorrect Address: Delays may occur if the shipping address provided is incomplete, incorrect, or unclear.

– Security Checks: Occasionally, additional security checks may be required, which could extend the processing time.

– Supplier or Inventory Constraints: Temporary stock shortages or delays from suppliers may affect processing and delivery times.

– High order Volume: During peak periods or sales events, a higher volume of orders may extend the 48-hour delivery window.

UK Pet Food Shop reserves the right to extend the 48-hour delivery timeframe under these circumstances, while making every effort to fulfill your order within the specified period. We appreciate your understanding and are committed to providing timely delivery and excellent service.

Delivery Policy for Mainland UK

Shipping Discount Policy for Orders over 30KG

Each order shipment is subject to a weight limit of 30KG. If the shipment weight exceeds 30KG, the order value required to qualify for a shipping discount will increase in times to the excess of each 30KG weight. For example, if an order with a value of 55GBP has a weight of 35KG, it will only qualify for a single shipping discount for the first 30 KG.. The weight above 30KG (i.e., 5KG) will be considered a separate shipment, and the full shipping amount will be charged for this portion of the order as per the shipping charge table above..

Example1: An order with a value of 110GBP and a weight of 40KG will qualify for two shipping discounts. The first shipping discount will be applied to the first 30KG of the shipment, and the second shipping discount will be applied to the remaining 10KG.

Example2: An order with a value of 57GBP and a weight of 40KG will qualify for one shipping discount. The first shipping discount will be applied to the first 30KG of the shipment, and the second shipping discount will not apply to the remaining 10KG as proportion of second shipment is on 2GBP.

Out of Deliveries Area

The following UK postal codes will incur an automatic £16.79 surcharge per 30kg at checkout due to courier restrictions. The courier service DPD requires this additional out-of-area fee for delivery to these locations. This policy is mandated by DPD and is beyond our control and influence. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Please note– we are currently unable to deliver to the Isle of Man, Guernsey and Channel Islands.
